Richmond (Yorkshire) Constituency Labour Party
About
The membership of Richmond (Yorkshire) CLP has been growing impressively over the last few years. In what has always been a Tory stronghold, we are delighted to have achieved our highest ever Labour vote in the 2017 General Election. We’re determined to do even better in the future, showing local people that Labour is present and active in the area, and offers real alternatives to the Tories who take the area for granted. It would be great to have you along…
There are lots of ways you can become involved with our CLP:
- Join the Labour Party
- Come along to our meetings! We have quarterly CLP meetings and monthly Branch meetings (note: meetings are currently on hold due to COVID-19).
- For women in the CLP there’s also the Women’s Forum. We have regular meetings where we can all get together from across the constituency – these are open to Labour Party members only. We also have regular Coffee Mornings around the constituency to which everyone is welcome, so feel free to bring a friend! Contact the Women’s Officer Pauline Reed for more information.
- Come along to our Campaigning events or help out at our public meetings.
- Help out with special skills. If you know a bit about design, or PR, or fundraising or – the list goes on! then your skills will be very welcome in helping to get our message out. Or perhaps you are a great cake maker and could contribute delicacies for a fundraising coffee morning? Contact your Branch Secretary and have a chat about what you can offer.
- Join in the conversation on the CLP Facebook pages: Richmondshire, Northallerton, Great Ayton & Stokesley and the Women’s Forum
